I thought I already made a comment about Age of Conquest but maybe it was a dream. I'm not what you would call a gamer because I was never interested in electronic games. I played the original offering of Doom for a while but eventually got bored. A long time ago I played Avalon Hill board games with a passion and I guess that experience set the bar pretty high. Every once in a while I searched for strategy games like Avalon Hill but until I found AOC, my efforts were in vain. If your into cartoons and rate games by their graphics or just want to pull a virtual trigger the AOC is not for you. If you want to be challenged, are not afraid to loose and are willing to ride an emotional roller coaster -- Then AOC will blow your mind.

the server they were using suddenly dropped a lot of its customers. until they can a) find a new server or b) figure something out with the one they have, it will be offline. They should be able to be back and running within the next few months. ive had experience with this game, and it is pretty fun, so its worth the wait.
